Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking an Imaging Services Registered Nurse to deliver individualized, age-specific care for imaging procedures in a hospital setting. The RN assesses patient needs and develops a plan of care, then executes and reviews outcomes with staff.

Texas RN licensure is required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS are preferred. Prior imaging department experience is a plus, with strong teamwork and patient safety focus.

Qualifications

• Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (preferred).
• 1 year clinical hospital experience.
• Experience in imaging department preferred but not required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Imaging Services Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized, age specific, goal directed care. The RN assesses the needs of the patient/client in order to develop a plan of care for the procedure to be performed and then implements and evaluates the plan. The RN bases the plan of care on current nursing knowledge/skills and institutional methodology. The RN accepts assignments that are commensurate with his/her experience, knowledge and ability. The RN delegates tasks to the licensed and unlicensed personnel according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
