Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Interventional Radiology unit. This per diem, weekend on-call role requires providing direct patient care and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Responsibilities include assisting Radiologist and technical team during procedures, coordinating schedules, and ensuring rooms are prepared for interventional imaging. Delaware RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

As a Registered Nurse You Will
The interventional radiology nurse is a registered professional who plans and renders nursing care within the radiology unit. He/she gives direct patient care and maintains clinical records reflecting the patient's condition, medication, treatment, examination, and progress according to the Delaware Nursing Practice Act and St. Francis Hospital's policies and procedures. Assists Radiologist and Technical team before, during and after interventional procedures performed in many of the imaging modalities, which includes organizing schedule, preparing room for procedure, preparing patient, obtaining required patient health information needed to perform exam, and other duties needed to efficiently maintain and run an Interventional Imaging department.
