Job Summary

Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Communicates pertinent patient/family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participates in resolving variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions. This is a unit-based contingent position reporting directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director, meeting all registered nurse responsibilities.
