Job Summary

Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, document care, and educate patients and families. Communicates pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participates in resolving variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions. This is a unit-based contingent position reporting directly to the Unit Manager/Director, fulfilling all responsibilities of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• 1-2 years of recent clinical nursing experience with demonstrated performance.

Certification/Licensure Required:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

Preferred Experience:

• 1-2 years of ICU experience.
