Incredible Health in the Toms River, NJ area is hiring a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology. Nurses with experience in interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, or sedation are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. Prior radiology or high-acuity clinical experience is preferred, with responsibilities including assisting radiologists, administering contrast, and educating patients about procedures.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• 1 year radiology/ICU/high-acuity experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols
• Proficient in EMR systems

Responsabilités

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and address allergic reactions or complications
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care before, during and after procedures
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks/benefits
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care per hospital policies

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Toms River, NJ area for the following position: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Interventional radiology, Nuclear medicine, or Sedation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
