Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) for a contract position in a hospital facility. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology and the ability to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam.

Shifts are 10-hour day shifts with weekend coverage for stress testing; there are no on-call duties. Candidates must hold a valid RN license in the state, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) - Contract Position

Position Details

This is a contract role with guaranteed 72 hours biweekly on all assignments. Guaranteed hours exclude any on-call time worked.

Shift and Schedule

10-hour day shifts with some weekend coverage required for stress testing.No on-call duties are expected.Weekend and holiday coverage is required.

Licensing and Certification Requirements

• Valid RN license for the state
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• ACLS AHA Certification

Testing and Onboarding

Completion of pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and medication tests is required during onboarding.Only one attempt is allowed to pass these tests.

• Dysrhythmia test: 20 questions
• Medication test: 20 questions

Tests are administered remotely via a secure online meeting prior to assignment.Testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation.A minimum score of 85% is required to pass.No retakes or remediation are permitted.Preparation using the provided study guide, which includes tips and answers, is strongly recommended.

Additional Requirements

• Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Orientation sessions are held biweekly
• All time-off requests must be submitted with the application
• Applicants must provide available dates and times for interviews upon submission
• Applicants who have worked at this facility in any capacity within the last six months are ineligible; a six-month separation is required
