Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN in Interventional Radiology for a 13-week assignment in Florida. The role requires neuro stroke experience, active RN license, and certifications BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Duties include initial assessments and delivering age-appropriate care in a fast-paced IR area.

On-site day shift, 8-hour shifts, with on-call weekends and additional shifts. Must reside within 100 miles and coordinate with Cerner systems.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license.
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology acute care experience.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfills patient care needs through nursing functions per licensure and standards.
  • Makes initial and ongoing assessments and documents appropriately.
  • Demonstrates age-appropriate care and growth/development knowledge.

  • Must live 100 miles away
  • Must be available Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1530
  • On-call for 2 weekends and 15 shifts
  • Neuro Stroke Experience Required
  • Cerner Experience Required
  • Free of hits on RN license

Description:Fulfills the needs of patients and families by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care.Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs.Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatments needed by patients.Makes initial assessment and determines the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.Completes admission assessment within the established timeframe, according to policy and procedures.3 years plus of IR experience is required.
