Job summary

Novant Health's Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, is expanding its 20-bed Intermediate Critical Care Unit. We are hiring Registered Nurses to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting on day shifts (7a-7p) with strong teamwork and leadership support.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, active RN license in North Carolina, and at least one year of relevant experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• BSN preferred.
• One year relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Intermediate Critical Care Unit setting.
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with House Supervisors, Rapid Response Team, IV Team, and Respiratory Therapy.
• Support a family-oriented culture and high-quality patient care.

What We're Looking For:

• Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
