Job summary

MedStar Health seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). You will provide complex, patient-centered care to clinically stable but high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, medication administration, telemetry and vital sign monitoring, and rapid response to clinical changes. You will collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate EMR

Qualifications

• Current RN license in MD or valid compact license.
• At least 2 years of ICU/IMCU or high-acuity care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex, patient-centered care to high-acuity patients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and critical monitoring.
• Administer medications and respond to rapid clinical changes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and collaborate with the care team.
