Job summary

MedStar Health in Maryland is seeking Clinical Nurses for our Intermediate Care Unit. The role covers a 16-bed unit with potential expansion, requiring close collaboration with Hospitalists and Critical Care Medicine providers to deliver high-flow oxygen therapy and continuous IV medications.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Minimum of one year of IMC or related experience
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated with other nursing team members.
