Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to render highly professional nursing care to assigned patients. You will use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) and support the hospital's mission and values.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Texas RN license or eligibility, and a current Basic Life Support certification. At least six months of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills and teamwork.
• Applies the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Communicates with the team, patients, and families and ensures understanding of information.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and ensures accurate and timely documentation.
• Delivers medication administration and IV therapy safely and promptly.
• Shows initiative for professional growth and development.
