Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU night shift. The RN will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, and will educate patients and families on medications and treatment requirements.

Candidates must have Florida RN license, nursing diploma/ASN, ICU experience; BSN preferred. BLS and ACLS within 6 months; NIHSS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or compact license; active FL RN within 60 days if compact.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Previous ICU/acute care experience required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; PC skills.
• WILL CONSIDER MICU/SICU/CSU candidates.
• MUST HAVE ICU EXPERIENCE

Registered Nurse candidates for the night position in the Intensive Care Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• You will maintain and review patients records including posting tests and examination results.
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse candidates for the night position in the Intensive Care Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly REQUIRED
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
