Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICU experience required with travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the ICU unit, managing critical patients.
• Floating to all units except Behavioral and ER as needed.

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Submission Requirements:

1. WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
2. Up-to-date resume with 2+ years of ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU experience, including travel experience
3. 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN References
4. Skills Checklist matching specialty
5. Drivers licenses with address matching demographics
6. Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
7. NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License and all active RN licenses
8. RTO must be included at time of submission
9. EMR Experience Required: EPIC

Job Description:

1. Unit: ICU
2. Shift: 6:30a-7p (Block Scheduling not guaranteed)
3. Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
4. Heart experience highly preferred
5. Floating required: Yes
6. Scrub Color: Navy

Unit Specifics:

1. Beds: 42 (East 20, West 22), including Neuro/Med, CTICU, Surg/Trauma units
2. Floating to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
3. Common diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro interventions, resp failure, CHF, post-stemi, CV surg, cardiogenic shock, trauma, major post-op surgeries
4. Equipment used includes IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM
