HRforGrowth is assisting with the recruitment of a Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit for a client in Atlanta, GA. This is a 13-week contract with compensation of $40–$45 per hour. The role requires prior ICU experience and may involve travel nursing assignments.

Role: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Key Responsibilities

• Track vital signs and hemodynamic parameters continuously
• Monitor fluid intake, output, and electrolyte balances
• Interpret lab results such as arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Administer high-risk medications and titrate critical IV drips
• Manage and secure artificial airways and mechanical ventilators
• Maintain invasive lines, including central venous and arterial catheters
• Troubleshoot complex life-support and monitoring technology
• Respond instantly to acute life-threatening medical crises
• Execute individualized care plans designed by physicians
• Document all care, interventions, and assessments meticulously
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the ICU specialty
• General Medical Surgical ICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
