Job summary

HRforGrowth is seeking a Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit in Atlanta, GA for a 13-week contract. The role involves 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with a Sun–Sat work week and compensation of $40–$45 per hour.

The ICU RN will monitor vital signs, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and respond to life-threatening crises while documenting all care and interventions. Prior travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience within the ICU specialty.
• General Medical Surgical ICU experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Required BLS, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Track vital signs and hemodynamic parameters continuously.
• Monitor fluid intake, output, and electrolyte balances.
• Interpret lab results such as arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Administer high-risk medications and titrate critical IV drips.
• Manage and secure artificial airways and mechanical ventilators.
• Maintain invasive lines, including central venous and arterial catheters.
• Troubleshoot complex life-support and monitoring technology.
• Respond instantly to acute life-threatening medical crises.
• Document all care, interventions, and assessments meticulously.
