HRforGrowth is facilitating a Travel Registered Nurse opportunity in a General Medical-Surgical ICU for a 13-week assignment in Atlanta, GA. Day shift, contract position, compensation $40-$45/hr. Candidates must have at least two years of ICU experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Location: Atlanta, GA 30342. Minimum 2 years ICU experience and prior travel nurse experience required; general medical-surgical ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track vital signs and hemodynamic parameters continuously.

• Administer high-risk medications and titrate IV drips.
• Manage artificial airways and mechanical ventilators.
• Maintain invasive lines (central venous, arterial).
• Troubleshoot life-support and monitoring technology.
• Respond to acute life-threatening crises.
• Execute care plans designed by physicians.
• Document care, interventions, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Track vital signs and hemodynamic parameters continuously
• Monitor fluid intake, output, and electrolyte balances
• Interpret lab results such as arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Administer high-risk medications and titrate critical IV drips
• Manage and secure artificial airways and mechanical ventilators
• Maintain invasive lines, including central venous and arterial catheters
• Troubleshoot complex life-support and monitoring technology
• Respond instantly to acute life-threatening medical crises
• Execute individualized care plans designed by physicians
• Document all care, interventions, and assessments meticulously
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the ICU specialty
• General Medical Surgical ICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
