Job summary

This role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, values-based care and to ensure medications are ordered, stored, and administered according to program protocols. The RN will educate clients and staff on health concerns, assess ongoing issues, document care accurately, and coordinate medical services with prescribers, aiming to promote recovery and well-being

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program (AD, hospital diploma or BSN).
• Current license to practice nursing in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic services.
• Manage ordering, delivery, storage and administration of medications.
• Educate persons served and staff on health concerns; provide staff training as required.
• Assess and respond to new or ongoing health issues.
• Complete documentation as required by RHD, funder, licensing or accreditation bodies.
