The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient interactions, patient/family education, and care transitions.

They support professional nursing practices across various settings, ensuring quality and safety in patient care.

Key duties include planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care within the established practice model, while demonstrating leadership through mentorship, committee participation, and quality improvement initiatives.
