Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital in Cambridge, MA, is hiring an experienced inpatient RN for a brand-new 24-bed pediatric surgical unit. You will care for diverse pediatric patients across Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, solid organ transplant and ESRD with a 2:1 nursing ratio on 12 beds.

The role requires a BSN and at least 1 year of inpatient acute RN experience; PALS/ACLS are preferred. We offer flexible schedules, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team to support

Responsibilities

• Work on a brand new 24-bed complex surgical unit
• Provide care for all pediatric patients across Orthopedics, General Surgery & Urology, Solid Organ Transplant and End Stage Renal Disease
• Maintain 2:1 nursing ratio on 12 beds for fluid management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care
• Rotate 36 hours per week with day/night shifts and every third weekend

• Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team that provides expert care
• Working 36 hours per week, rotating days/nights and every third weekend
