Job summary

RISE Community Hospital in Prairieville, LA is seeking a Substance Abuse Registered Nurse to join the founding clinical team on the inpatient unit. You will provide bedside care for patients with addiction, perform assessments, monitor withdrawal, and collaborate with physicians to tailor care plans.

This role requires RN licensure, active BLS, and BSN preferred; experience in detox or critical care is valuable.

Individualized Care & Treatment: Collaborate closely with physicians to develop tailored care plans, administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV), and provide effective pain management services. Holistic Support & Advocacy: Conduct mental health screenings, offer compassionate emotional support, and educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care and long-term recovery resources.
