RISE Community Hospital in Prairieville, LA is seeking a Substance Abuse Registered Nurse to join our founding clinical team for night shifts.

You will perform clinical assessments, monitor withdrawal, and administer medications while collaborating with physicians to tailor care plans. This role focuses on supporting patients through detox and transition to recovery in a small-hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (LA).
• Current BLS certification.
• BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS a plus.
• 2+ years in substance abuse/detox or critical care.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside care for patients with addiction and co-occurring conditions.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor withdrawal using CIWA.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
