Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Therapy team in Minnesota. The RN will manage patient care episodes and coordinate with caregivers, ensuring safe, high-quality treatment for patients and families, in a casual day shift setting.

The role requires a BSN/BAN, Minnesota RN license, BLS certification, and chemotherapy administration experience, with ONS certification preferred, supporting a comprehensive cancer care program.

Qualifications

• BSN/BAN in Nursing required.
• Minnesota Registered Nurse License required.
• BLS provider status per American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines required.
• 1 year of inpatient or outpatient chemotherapy administration experience required.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care episode in partnership with patients, families, and other providers to ensure safe, quality care.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Deliver infusion therapy and monitor patient response and safety.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule

Casual, day shift with varying start times of 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm

Required Qualifications

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • BSN/BAN in Nursing required.
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
  • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • NA
• Additional Requirements:
  • 1 year of inpatient or outpatient chemotherapy administration experience.
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
