Job summary

Saint Luke’s is hiring a full-time RN for the Infusion Clinic Float Pool, a day shift position. The role requires floating between Plaza, Lee's Summit, North Kansas City and Overland Park locations, delivering patient care in a hospital setting and supervising other staff as needed.

Strong teamwork, communication and time management are essential, with infusion experience preferred. Licensure in MO and KS and a BSN are required to join this team of dedicated nursing professionals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of applicable nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• RN licensure in KS and MO
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

• In hospital setting, utilize the nursing process to care for patients.
• Perform patient care and delegate tasks; supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate plan of care for a group of patients; consult with health care team to ensure outcomes.
• Adhere to policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong time management, teamwork, and communication.
• Infusion experience strongly preferred.

We are hiring a full-time RN for our Infusion Clinic Float Pool team. This is a day shift position. This position will float between all of our 4 main locations. These locations are at the Plaza, Lee's Summit, North Kansas City and Overland Park.

The Work

• In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
• Strong time management, teamwork, communication and multi-tasking skills are important to be successful in this position.
• Previous experience with infusion strongly preferred.
