Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infusion Clinic to provide safe, compassionate care, plan and evaluate patient care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will perform assessments, educate patients and families on care and medications, and support quality improvement activities while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• At least 1 year of oncology/infusion nursing experience is preferred.
• Current Illinois RN licensure is required.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises individualized care plans based on patient progress.
• Performs patient assessments, gathers health data, and communicates with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Educates patients and families on disease management, emergency care, and medication use, considering cultural and learning needs.
• Contributes to professional development of peers and supports clinical education.
• Assists with technical procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and IV management.
• Participates in quality improvement, research, and evidence-based practice activities.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations and supports patient transportation when needed.
