Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL, full-time (36 hours/week). The nurse will provide independent ISCU care, apply the nursing process, and supervise unlicensed staff to deliver interdisciplinary care.

Applicants should have an NLN-accredited nursing program, an IL RN license, and BLS/CPR certification; 1 year acute care or ISCU experience is preferred, with NICU exposure valued. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse ? Infant Special Care Unit

• Location: Evanston, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

• Hours: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation

• Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred

• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
