Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU) for Evanston, IL.

You will independently provide nursing care, plan and evaluate the patient plan, and supervise unlicensed staff while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Expect shift rotations and weekend work as part of full-time duties.

Qualifications

• NLN accredited nursing program required; BSN strongly preferred.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety and promote high quality patient experience

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse ? Infant Special Care Unit

• Location: Evanston, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

• Hours: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation

• Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred

• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
