Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking registered nurses to collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, delivering professional nursing care using the nursing process, conducting assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, educating patients, and maintaining medical records.

MHHS hires RNs based on years of experience (RN I <1 year, RN II 1-3 years, RN III 3-10 years, RN IV 10+ years). Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred, Texas license or compact license, BLS, and unit-specific certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care in collaboration with the physician and healthcare team using the nursing process.
• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, provides patient education, and maintains medical records.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies across units.
• Provides mentorship and supports ongoing professional development of staff as needed.
