Job summary

Atlantic Health in Summit, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with healthcare professionals in treating patients with injuries, illnesses or disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, educate patients, and maintain records to support optimal care.

Prerequisites include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in New Jersey, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates have BSN, ACLS, and 1+ year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
