Job summary

Atlantic Health in Summit, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse to collaborate with physicians and the care team, monitor patients, administer medications, and maintain accurate records. You will participate in planning and evaluating nursing care, ensure safety, and educate patients as part of a comprehensive care approach.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, a nursing degree, and BLS certification, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
