Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care from admission through discharge at our Massachusetts facilities. You will assess, plan, implement, and document comprehensive care while coordinating with physicians, therapists, and support staff.

The role requires current MA nursing licensure, BLS, and unit-specific credentials; ACLS/PALS may be required in select departments.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required for every RN.
• ACLS and PALS certifications may be required for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments and document care per policy.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure quality and safety.
