Job summary

Mercy seeks registered nurses to provide patient-centered care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework. You will ensure confidentiality, coordinate with other departments, and maintain accountability for the care of assigned patients.

Applicants should have an RN license in the hiring state (Missouri or compact), BLS certification, and unit-specific certifications as required. Position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking during shifts.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from accredited program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state required.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications commonly required (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM) depending on unit.
• Other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
