Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments. You will work within Mercy Service Standards, protecting patient rights and confidentiality.

In this role you must hold an RN license in Missouri (or compact), complete BLS, and meet unit-specific certifications as required. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment that supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure, with eligibility to practice in the hiring state.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
