Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, while maintaining accountability and confidentiality for the individuals in their care.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with other departments and evaluating care effectiveness, all in alignment with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards. This role requires licensure, BLS, and ongoing certification as outlined by Mercy.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification; other certifications may be required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
