Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will be accountable for the care of assigned patients, evaluate team performance, and coordinate with other departments while safeguarding patient rights and privacy.

The role requires graduation from a nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN) and an active RN license in the relevant state or a compact license, plus Basic Life Support certification (or completion within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license required and maintained in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or course completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
