Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center has a nursing opportunity focused on direct patient care and clinical leadership. You will be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing care on a shift basis, while supervising staff to ensure safe and effective nursing delivery.

The role requires current nursing licensure, CPR certification, and a commitment to high-quality care. You will operate within a hospital team, supporting the CNO and adhering to emergency protocols and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a state approved school of nursing.
• Certification: Currently licensed and CPR certified as required by law.
• Active licensure and ability to practice nursing in the state where employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, direct clinical nursing care to assigned patients.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate tasks to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate patient care with the medical team and discharge planning.
• Perform hospital Incident Command System responsibilities as directed during emergencies.
• Familiar with hospital codes and follow policies for safety and emergencies.
