Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care in a high‑quality environment in Atlanta. You will educate patients and families, coordinate across settings, and use the nursing process to plan and evaluate care.

The role requires NCLEX‑RN, GA RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification; BSN is preferred, with 1+ year RN experience. ACLS must be obtained within 90 days for specified specialties.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• One (1) or more years' experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• Specific area of specialty previous experience preferred.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) health care provider card required.
• ACLS Certification required for all listed areas; new graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment: ECC, GI/Cath Laboratory, Labor & Delivery, Intermediate Care, PACU.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive nursing care.
• Maintain a safe environment and educate patients and families about healthy practices.
• Coordinate care across settings and among caregivers; utilize information and technology.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
