Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• A BSN is strongly preferred.
• One or more years' experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) health care provider card required.
• ACLS Certification required for all listed areas; new graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment: All Critical Care, Emergency Care Center (ECC), GI/Cath Laboratory, Labor & Delivery, All Intermediate Care, Post Acute Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care.
• Maintain a safe environment and educate patients and families about healthy practices and treatment modalities.
• Coordinate care across settings and among caregivers; manage information and communication; utilize technology.
• Lead, problem-solve, delegate and collaborate as part of a team to ensure continuity of care.
