Qualifications

• ACLS certification required for Critical Care, ECC, GI/Cath Lab, Labor & Delivery, Intermediate Care, PACU; graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care.
• Maintains a safe environment and educates patients and families about healthy practices and treatment modalities.
• Coordinates care across settings and among caregivers; manages information and uses the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Advocates for patients, participates in performance improvement, and collaborates with the care team.
