Wesley Healthcare in Wichita, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care across the nursing process in collaboration with the care team. You will apply professional standards and evidence-based practice to support positive patient outcomes.

As part of the Wesley Medical Center, you will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensure safe medication administration, and engage with diverse patient populations while upholding ethical and compassionate care delivery.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN and licensure requirements as part of employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient-centered nursing care in accordance with Wesley Medical Center standards.
• Evaluates quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and participates in improvements.
• Maintains current knowledge in nursing practice and education.
• Monitors patient progress toward outcomes and communicates with care team.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and providers to advocate for care.
• Ensures safety and cost-effectiveness in delivering patient care.
• Applies age-appropriate competencies for department populations.
• Uses critical thinking to identify resources for patient scenarios.
• Administers medications per established guidelines.
