Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide safe and competent nursing care aligned with facility policies and philosophy.

You will support the healthcare team, uphold Patient Centered Care, and demonstrate professional leadership while contributing to positive patient outcomes.

Active NV RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required; 1 year acute care experience or equivalent specialty training, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• One year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada (NV).
• BLS Certification (required).
• ACLS Certification preferred (adult patients) or NRP/PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision and demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent. BSN preferred.

Experience

One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.

License/Certification

Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients). Other certification as may be required by facility, speciality or department.
