Job summary

The Valley Hospital Medical Center, part of The Valley Health System, seeks an RN to provide safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting in Las Vegas, NV. You will lead care teams, ensure policy adherence, and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements include Nevada RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS/NRP certifications as applicable, with BSN preferred. This role supports a culture of Service Excellence and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide staff under supervision and demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.

Job Description

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent. BSN preferred.

Experience

One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.

License/Certification

Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients). Other certification as may be required by facility, speciality or department.
