Incentives:

Referral bonuses of $1,000 are available to referring DHSS employees.

Eligibility: Must be a new employee to the State of DE to qualify.

The Program Provides Incentives As Follows

Incentives are paid quarterly over the first year, starting after the first quarter of employment. New employees accepting this bonus must commit to two years of employment with DHSS. Referral bonuses of $1,000 are paid quarterly over the first year of the referred applicant’s employment.

Note: The program is administered by DHSS and may be terminated at any time.

Summary Statement

The incumbent will perform in-depth member assessments for long-term care facilities, referencing regulations and policies to determine care levels and reimbursements for Medicaid members. Responsibilities include providing references, conducting education sessions, and ensuring compliance with reimbursement methodologies.

Essential Functions
  • Provides or evaluates direct nursing care.
  • Develops, implements, and reviews care plans.
  • Provides health care guidance to individuals, families, and facilities.
  • Maintains effective team relationships.
  • Prepares reports and evaluations.
  • Participates in quality assurance activities.
Job Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate competence in:

  • At least two years experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with at least one year experience OR a Master's degree or higher in Nursing.
  • Possession of a Delaware RN license or multi-state compact license.
