Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective care and achieve patient outcomes.

This role requires an Associate degree in nursing, SC RN licensure (or compact state), BLS, and ACLS certification. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with shift work and physical requirements as described.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
