The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care across families and patients. Under supervision, you will deliver safe, effective nursing care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Minimum education is an Associate degree in nursing, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. SC nursing licensure (or compact state) and current BLS/ACLS certifications are required.

• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, via AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR/AED for Healthcare Providers.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Minimum Training and Education : Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations : Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
