Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II for our OBGYN/Pediatrics units during night shifts (PRN). The RN will supervise other RNs, LPNs and assistive personnel, assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes in accordance with the state nurse practice act.

Education and Licensure: Georgia RN license or Multistate license; CPR certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as outlined in the job qualifications.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license or Multistate Nursing License required.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in nursing care.
• Assess patient needs, plan and implement patient care, and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Perform nursing functions in accordance with the state nurse practice act.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.

• PALS within on year of hire in PACU
• NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.
