Located in Baltimore’s cultural center near Mount Vernon, it is a 180-bed community teaching hospital focusing on managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary conditions, and infectious diseases.

Job Description

• Provide independent care to the specific patient population; serve as a clinical resource for others; utilize and integrate evidence into practice; function effectively in unit-specific roles (e.g., arrest team for ICU, triage for ED).
• Act as an effective primary coordinating nurse; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient and family care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for colleagues.
• Assist in team development and evaluate the Relationship-Based Care model; suggest improvement methods; participate in data collection related to outcomes like handoffs and medication safety.
• Participate in initiatives addressing Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators (NSQI).

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Maryland or eligibility via Compact agreements; BSN preferred. Up-to-date mandatory training and classes.
• At least one year of nursing experience with solid clinical skills and knowledge.
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintain 10 contact hours of education every two years.

Compensation: Pay Range: $38.51-$51.81
