Registered Nurse II - Medical Surgical - Nights

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients, utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. The role involves delivering safe, effective care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Entity: Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA)

Work Type: Employee (Regular)

Location: CC001418 KER - MedSurg 2 (KMC)

Pay Rate: Hourly, with a $30,000 Sign-On Bonus

Schedule: 36 hours/week, 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, every other weekend.

Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), active RN licensure in South Carolina or a compact state, current BLS certification, ACLS required in most hospital areas.

Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors, in confined spaces, and from elevated positions. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, performing fine and gross motor tasks, and working rotating shifts and overtime.
