Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; diploma acceptable with relevant experience.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas; Basic Life Support.
• Other unit/service certificates as required.
• 1 year of full-time RN experience or GN program completion.
• Bilingual skills preferred; strong writing and reporting ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in assigned clinical area independently and safely.
• Apply standards, principles and algorithms per Nursing Practice Act.
• Recognize when assistance is needed and seek resources.
