Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team in Towson, MD. You will deliver direct patient care, implement nursing plans, and collaborate with physicians and health professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active Maryland RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. Additional specialty certifications may be required on hire to support specialty units.

Qualifications

Associate degree in nursing required.
Current RN license with Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
BLS certification from an American Heart Association training site.
1 year RN experience required.
Additional specialty certifications may be required on hire for specialty areas.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and formulate nursing diagnoses.
Develop and update nursing plan of care.
Coordinate patient activities with health team, including discharge planning.
Administer medications and IV therapy; initiate emergency procedures.
Document patient status and care plans; communicate with physicians and health professionals.
Educate patients and families on care plans and health maintenance.
Supervise and coordinate duties of ancillary personnel.
