Job Description

• Provide independent care to specific patient populations; serve as a clinical resource for others; incorporate evidence-based practices; and function effectively in unit-specific roles such as arrest team for ICU or triage for ED.
• Act as an effective primary coordinating nurse; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient and family care needs.
• Serve as a clinical resource for colleagues.
• Assist in team development and evaluate the implementation of the Relationship-Based Care model; suggest improvements and participate in data collection related to outcomes like handoffs and medication safety.
• Participate in initiatives targeting Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators (NSQI).

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Maryland or eligibility through Compact agreements; BSN preferred. Up-to-date mandatory training and certifications.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience with solid clinical skills and knowledge.
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintain 10 contact hours of education every two years.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $38.51 - $51.81
